HOSTEL
Hindu Girls College was started as a girls wing of Hindu College, Sonepat in 1958 with the intention of extending education to girls of the region. It acquired a separate entity in 1982. The mission of the college is to Spread Education and Awareness to the Remotest Corner and the vision is Women Empowerment. To achieve this we are going from strength to strength. It enjoys a pride of place amongst the educational institutions of NCR and is one of the most sought after institutions for inculcating the right values while making the girls techno-savvy.
FACILITIES
• Hostel rooms are well furnished.
• Water cooler facility during summers and electric geyser facility during winter.
• Facility of Tubewell and Generator to maintain regular water and electricity supply.
• The quality of food in Hostel mess is regularly checked by the Principal and Mess Committee and student representatives.
• The Hostel Kitchen is equipped with modern gadgets and special care is taken about hygiene and nutrition of the food supplied.
• Newspaper facility is provided in the Hostel Common Room.
• A Doctor visits the hostel regularly. In case of emergency, medical facility is provided in Cygnus J.K. Hospital, Sonepat. Wheelchair facility is also available.
• Fitness point – Hostel Gym is well-equipped.
• Tuck Shop to cater to day-to-day requirements.
• Canteen facility for the love of Fast food.
• There is a guest room where hostellers can meet their parents/guardians during stipulated timings and days.
• Temple in the College premises.
• Daily prayer meeting in the Hostel.
• Cultural programmes and competitions are organized in the Hostel from time to time.
• Branch of Canara Bank in the College premises. It is mandatory for the students to have an account in this Branch.
• Hostel Development Committee to solve the problems of hostellers (if any).
